Dr. Marcel Mangelsdorf DDS

Dr. Mangelsdorf graduated from The University of Amsterdam in 1977 and moved to Melbourne in 1978.  While running a successful part-time private practice in North Fitzroy he also worked for the Royal Melbourne Dental Hospital Domiciliary Service and was on the casual staff of the Melbourne University Dental School.  In 1990 he moved to Daylesford and worked in Community Health in both Ballarat and Daylesford for 5 years.  In December 1994 Marcel moved to Tweed Heads to be closer to Margaret's family.  He took over the Wharf Street practice from Dr. Alice Hill and moved it to it's present location in 1999.  Marcel is once again involved with teaching students as a casual staff member of Griffith University of Dentistry and Oral Health.

In his spare time Marcel loves to paddle outrigger canoes and ride his motorbike.  He is also a member of the local Ulysses Motorcycle Club and is a serving member of the St. Joseph's Parish Advisory Council.  His other interests are music and reading.
